Delete your account
On this page you can delete your VisScanner account: for the website visscanner.nl and for the app.
What is deleted
Your account, your catches, your fishing times, your photos and your sign-in codes (they keep the app signed in). All of it also disappears from our backups within 60 days.
By law we must keep records of paid subscriptions for 7 years (Dutch tax law).
Of your photos we keep only a fingerprint (a short code) with its dates, for 90 days and not linked to you. That way the same photo cannot be used again.
Your plan
If you have a plan through the App Store or Google Play, cancel it in the store first: deleting your account does not stop it. A plan through visscanner.nl ends at once when you delete your account.
Sign in to delete your account
Sign in with the same account you use in the app.
Sign in with Google Sign in with Microsoft
Did you create your account with Apple? You cannot sign in with Apple on the website. Delete your account in the app instead, or by email: see 'Other ways' below.
Other ways
In the app: Me → Settings → Delete account, and confirm. Your account is deleted at once.
Without signing in: email [email protected] from your account's email address, with the subject "Delete account". We will delete your account within 30 days and let you know.
